Handy Wordpress Tip

His name is Mr Bumpy…Here’s an interesting tid-bit for both Wordpress Bloggers and Blog-Readers.

Did you know that, if set up properly (like mine are), you can leave comments on images?

To leave a comment, just click on the image, which will bring you to a page where you can leave your comment.

But how do you set this up? Simple.

First, you need to upload your image, using the upload tool at the bottom of your post, or find the image you have already uploaded using the Browse section. Make sure you set an appropriate title as this will be the title of the page that it opens. A description is good also – this appears directly below the image in regular type.

Next, choose to send it to the editor as a Thumbnail, linking to a Page. I like to align my pictures also, to the left or right. Do this by selecting the picture once it’s in your editor, pressing the Picture icon in your toolbar, and changing the Alignment property.

Once done, Publish your post, and marvel at the many comments that nobody knows how to leave you until you link to this post telling them how.
