Dancing About Architecture: Brisbane Jazz Club

Interesting story how I found out about Dancing About Architecture.

I told my sister about a band called Architecture in Helsinki. I showed her a song or two and she liked it. When her friend told her about a band called Dancing About Architecture, she thought it was the same band.

She got the CD, and realising it was a different band, showed me. I liked it a lot (possibly more than architecture in Helsinki) and got the album too.

Turns out that they’re a local (Brisbane) act. They played at the Jazz Club last night, and we went to see them. They were great. Here’s a clip that I recorded on my phone:

They got there name from this quote “Writing about music is the same as dancing about Architecture”.
