64kb!
Many many years ago (like, maybe, five or six), I came accross an amazing piece of technology – the 64kb movie.
This beauty was a marvel of the byte. Encryption like you’ve never seen it before. Literally awe inspring, jaw dropping, ego humbling technology.
The 64kb Movie is a full screen 15 minutes long movie with a full soundtrack, compressed into 64kb. To give you an idea of how small that is, the average song, which last on average 3 minutes, is about 3000kb. This is a 15 minute full screen movie in 64kb.
5 years ago, you needed a pretty sweet computer to be able to run it, but these days, any old computer should do the trick.
