Wordpress vs Blogger vs .Mac

So I’ve recently been considering the possibility of switching to a new blogging client. I am currently using Apple’s .mac service and am finding it acceptable, however, i thought i might try for something better.

 

The two obviouse alternatives are wordpress and blogger.

 

.Mac is application based which means that you have to be at your computer to be able to make a post. The plus side is that you don’t need to be online, you can always write your post and publish it later.

 

The other two are web based, which means that although you need to be online to write a post,you can do it from any computer.

 

To keep this post short and simple, I’ve decided to stick with .mac. Even though it’s html capabilities and RSS feed is inferior, I just prefer the look and feel of the page. There’s no themes that i can find that even come close to this one. And it is actually superior in a lot of ways, in that i can customis each page quite a lot more than i could on a web based system.

 

On top of that, Apple should be releasing an update for the program i use to write this blog around June. Hopefully it will fix a lot of the issues i have with it.
