2007 Goals
While I was moving, I found a piece of paper hidden in an inconspicuous position.
On it, were the goals I’d written at the start of the year for 2007.

Americans
Today on the train there were some Americans having a conversation near to where I was sitting. It went like this:
American 1: I was watching TV the other day and I saw a British show!
American 2: A British show! Fancy that! Who would ever watch British shows!
American 3: Well actually, over half of Australia is British

Pandora Player
So there’s this really cool site, Pandora.com.
It’s really great – I’m addicted.

Self Improvement
Self improvement isn’t exactly a hobby of mine, but it can’t hurt too much, right?
There is an exercise at Talia’s Life, one of my favourite blogs, that helps you give yourself a kick up the backside when it comes to making yourself better at yourself.

Homepage Update Again
I’ve update LukeCarbis.com again – slightly more browser friendly.
Now works in Safari and kinda works in IE – except that it try’s to block the (perfectly harmless) active x control, and friggen well won’t center the content in the table cells. IE6 & IE7 suck big time.
Looks exactly the same – but works a bit better.

Lucy
I met my neighbour on my left the other day. He was full of tattoos, and not very friendly. His name's Tony. I'm using his wireless internet.
I met my neighbour on my right today. Her name's Lucy. Yes! That's right! I know and live right next door to a REAL LIFE LUCY!

Well Travelled
Today on the train I met a man named Mike. Mike is from Gambia, West Africa. He has skin black as night, a huge white smile, and is the friendliest person I’ve met in a long while.
Here’s how I met him:

Gecko
Last night I came home to find a visitor.
There was a gecko in my sink.
He was very frightened. I tried to pick him up and put him outside (so I could do the dishes), but he was scared of me and tried to run away. Only problem was that he couldn’t make it up out of the sink walls.

Trading Plans
So I’ve been working on trading the SPI for a little while now, and with the help of Captain Kaos (a.k.a Grant Booth), by Jeeves, I think I’ve got it.

Using some pretty basic and accurate indicators, here’s the round up:
