I’m a Geek
Today has been a very geeky day.
The first thing I did this morning was check up on what has changed on the Apple rumour scene overnight, on the internet. I reached over beside my bed, pulled my laptop up, and browsed away. Next, T and I went through her photo archive from last year, on her laptop, picking out the photo's that we'd like to display at our engagement party.
After that I began work on creating the video presentation for our engagement party in iMovie.
We then went to my Dad's salon, Skin. Talia had several hundred dollars worth of free treatment, while I set up the salon's internet connection.
We then visited my little brother, chubb, and played Quake 3 Arena (an overly violent shoot-em-up style game) networked on my MacBook, my brother Ben's MacBook my Dad's iMac.
Then we went and got Talia's hours from Woolworths. She doesn't have any and is upset. I don't blame her. I guess they're putting all the cheap staff on over Christmas/New Year. While she checked her hours, I began this blog.
As we drove around the place, we have been listening to the TWIT (this week in tech) podcast. It's about as geeky a podcast as they come. Now we're on the way home to check out our trades that we've made online. I'm a geek.
