Christmas #1
So last night was Christmas with my folks, at their house. Here’s a summary of the presents that I received:
1. An Aladdin’s Lamp
Hannah, my sister, got me a wonderful lamp, straight out of Aladdin. I love it. It’s exactly the kind of thing I would see in a store and say “I just have to have thatâ€Â.

2. Thongs
I’ve needed a new pair of thongs for a long time. These a soft, durable rivers thongs. Just like on the ad. Don’t even ask what happened to the old thongs. Ben (brother) got them for me.
3. Suitcase
You can’t see very well in the photo, but this is one state-of-the-art suitcase. Perfect for traveling, particularly to Melbourne, which I’m doing tomorrow. The suitcase features suit hanging, a place for shoes, a thousand other places for clothes, and hard sides (to keep those baggage-handlers at bay). A very good (and expensive) present. Thanks M&D.
4. A Plain White Shirt
This is my favourite present of all. It’s a plain white shirt. I intend to tie dye it. “Why is this the best?†I hear you ask. Because Chubb (little brother a.k.a Jordan) searched hi and low for one, and had a really hard time finding it, and still kept at it, searching and searching until he finally found it. I really appreciate it, man. Thanks heaps. You’re a pretty cool kid.
Today Talia and I bought Christmas present for relatives in Melbourne, and for Mandy. We also scanned the covers of some of our book collection to go into our database.
